John A. “Drew” Loomis is General Counsel for Aqua Terra Water Management and its U.S. and Canadian affiliates and oversees all legal and land functions. Prior to Aqua Terra, Mr. Loomis served as a Staff Attorney for oil and gas firm, QuarterNorth Energy, and its Mexican affiliated entities. Mr. Loomis’ roles prior include serving as in-house counsel and contracts manager for exploration and production company, Fieldwood Energy, including its Mexican affiliates . Mr. Loomis has nearly a decade of domestic and international oil and gas legal experience through transactional, regulatory, and litigation matters. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Mississippi College School of Law. Mr. Loomis is a member of the State Bar of Texas, and is an active member of The Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Law Section.
